INTOXICANTS BY-LAN ÔR/ gt-?55 Whereas a majority of the electors of the Band who attended a special meeting of the KINCOLITH Band on JUNE 1,1986 called by the council of the KINCOLITH banc or. JUNE I, 1986 for the purpose of considering the contents of this bv-iaw, consented to the contents of this by-law. And whereas the KINCOLITH Band Council considers necessary special measures for the protection of the inhabitants of the reserve(s) of the KINCOLITH Band from the presence of intoxicants : Now therefore,- it is hereby enacted pursuant to section 85.1 of the Indian Act. DEFINITIONS 1. In this by-law "intoxicants" includes alcohol,alcoholic,spiritous, vinous,fermented malt or other intoxicating liquor or combination of liquors and mixed liquor a part of which is spiritous,vinous,fermented or otherwise in­ toxicating and all drinks or drinkable liquids and ell preparations or mixtures capable of human consumption that are intoxicating. PROHIBITION ON SALE,BARTER,SUPPLY OR MANUFACTURE 2. Everyone who sells,barters, supplies or manufacture in­ toxicants on the reserve (s) of the KINCOLITH Band is guilty of an offence punishable on summarv conviction. PROHIBITION AGAINST INTOXICANTS 3. Everyone who is intoxicated in the reserve(s) of the KINCOLITH Band is guilty of an offence punishable on summary conviction. PROHIBITION ON POSSESSION OF INTOXICANTS 4 . Everyone who if found in possession of intoxicants is guilty of an offence punishable on summary conviction. PENALTIES 5. For greater certainty, the penalties for contravention of this by-law are set out in the Indian Act. CITATION 6. This bv-law may be cited as By-Law No._10̂ of the KINCOLITH Band being a by-law respecting intoxicants. This is Exhibit A referred to in tiia (f^ .
