BY -LA W NO. 1999-2 TH E NADLEH W H UT'EN INDIAN BAND No. 612 B Y -L A W TO AMEND BY -LA W NO. 1998-8 BEIN G A BY-LA W TO PRO V ID E FO R TH E H EALTH CA RE O F TH E NADLEH W HUT'EN PEO PLE . WHEREAS the Council o f the Nadleh Whut'en Indian Band is empowered to make such by-law pursuant to paragraphs 81(1) (a) (d) (f) (j) (1) (q) and (r) o f the Indian Act; AND WHEREAS By-law No. 1998-8 being a By-law to Provide For The Health Care Of The Nadleh Whut'en People was approved, pursuant to s. 82 o f the Indian Act, on December 18, AND WHEREAS it is necessary to make amendments to By-law No. 1998-8 being a By-law to Provide for the Health Care o f the Nadleh Whut’en Pèople. NOW B E IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Nadleh Whut'en Indian Band enacts the following bylaw pursuant to s. 81 of the Indian Act. 1. This bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the Nadleh Whut'en Indian Band Health Care Amending Bylaw. 2. The following amendments to the Nadleh Whut'en Indian Band Health Care Bylaw shall be made: s. 7(4) shall read: "Every contract of employment that the Board enters into shall stipulate that employees undertake to protect and honour the special relationship and confidentiality that exists between the Health Board and its clients/patients. Such employment contracts shall further stipulate that breach of such confidentiality may be grounds for the dismissal." In ss. 8 and 11 'Band Health Policy Manual' is replaced with Health Services Agreement'. In ss. 15 and 17 'Minister of National Health and Welfare Canada' is replaced with 'Minister of Health'. In s. 15 'Nadleh Whut'en Indian Band' is replaced with 'Carrier Sekani Family Services’.
