Pursuant to pa ragraph ME W of Sec* tt8QH of the Indian A c t , (a) a Bog Regulations1 Officer meansi A person appointed by the Band Council. (b) Every person who is the owner, possessor or harbourer of a dog over the age of six (6) months is required to procure an annual license for his dog* With the consent of the Bog Regulations' Officer, the head of each family or persons living alone may keep one male dog or one spayed female dog, upon presentation of a certificate as proof of spaying, free of tax, provided that registration of such dog is made in accord ance with the regulations* (e) The fee for each additional male dog or spayed female dog Is §5*50 and ths fee for each unspayed female dog is $10*00* These licenses are due and payable on January 1st of each year* If the lioense fee is not paid by February 1st of each year, a penalty of $1*75 is added* (As a result of a reference of the past year's license but does not pertain to newly acquired dogs)* (d) Bogs are not allowed to run at large on the Kusqueam Reserve which means elsewhere than on the premises of a person owning, or having oustody, oare or control of any dog end not being under the immediate charge and control of a responsible and j competent person* (e) If an unlloensed dog is off his owner's property and not tinder the immediate charge of a responsible person, it will be Impounded and destroyed by the Dog Regulation Officer.
