VOJ 1Y0 Phone (604) 842-5248 or (604) 842-5249 Fax (604) 842-5604 REPEALING CURFEW BY-LAW KISPIOX BAND COUNCIL BY-LAW NO. 1997 - 01 WHEREAS section 80, paragraphs (c), (d), (q) and (r) of the Indian Act empower the Council of the Kispiox Band to pass by-laws to provide for the regulation of the activities of boys and girls on the Kispiox Community actually or apparently under 16 years of age. WHEREAS the Council of the Kispiox Band did enact By-law No. 1958.3 on the 15th day of December, pursuant to paragraphs 80 (a) and (r) of the Indian Act. AND WHEREAS the said Council is of the opinion that such a by-law is not relevant to this day and age and are replacing it with By law number 1997-02. NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Kispiox Band enacts as a by-law thereof the following: By-law No. 1958.3 enacted the 15th day of December 1958, and being a by-law to provide for the regulation of the activities of boys and girls on the Kispiox Community actually or apparently under 16 years of age, be and the same is hereby repealed.
