The Council of the Kitwanga Band of Indiana at a meeting held this / f ' / d a y of c & i > 19&2, make the following by-law pursuant to paragraphs (cj, (d), (q), and (r) of Section 80 of the Indian Act* By-law No* 2 A by-law to provide for the regulation of the activities of boys and girls on the Kitwanga Indian Reserve actually or apparently under 16 years of age* 1* In this by-law, (a) "By-law No* 1" means a by-law made by the Council of the Kitwanga Band of Indians at a meeting held on March £, I960, to provide for the regulation of the activities of boys and girls on the Kitwanga Indian Reserve actually or apparently under 18 years of age; (b) «Nine o 'clock in the afternoon" means nine o 'clock in the afternoon by standard or daylight saving time whichever may prevail from time to time; and (c) "Reserve" means the Kitwanga Indian Reserve* 2* With the coming into force of this by-law, By-law No* 1 shall cease to be in force* 3- No boy or girl on the Reserve actually or apparently under 16 years of age shall loiter any place within the Reserve after nine o'clock in the afternoon* U* No boy or girl on the Reserve actually or apparently under 16 years of age shall be in any place of entertainment, street, lane, by-way or common, within the Reserve, or shall be in the course of returning from any place of entertainment off the Reserve, after nine o 'clock in the afternoon unless accompanied by his or her parent or an adult appointed by a parent to accompany such bey or girl*

Any boy or girl on the Reserve found violating the provisions of sections 3 or U of this by-law may be warned and conducted home by a police officer. 6» Any parent -who permits his or her child to violate the provisions of sections 3 or 1* of this by-law shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $5*00 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding seven days or both fine and imprisonment* * -g:, 7 Chief Councillor Councillor Councillor
