? The Council of the Hartley Bay Band of Indians at a meeting held January 10th, 1956 at Prince Rupert, B.C. makes the following bylaw pursuant to paragraph (h) and (r) of section 80 of the Indian Act. Bylaw No. 9 A bylaw to provide for the regulation of the construction and repair of buildings whether owned by the band or by indiv idual members of the band. (a) No person shall construct any building within the limits of Kulkayu #4A_________Indian Reserve until permission there fore has been granted under the authority of a resolution of the council. (b) No person shall make or undertake any repair of any build ing within the limits of the reserve until permission therefore has been granted under the authority /of a resolution of the council, provided, however, that no such pemission shall be required in the case of the making or undertaking of repairs of a minor nature not exceeding in value the amount of -$ O* dollars. (c) Any person who violates any of the provisions of this by law shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding ten dollars or imprisonment for a term not exceeding seven days, or both fine and im prisonment.
