Tht Council of t h e __XiJtManCûûJ______________________IjH?# Indians at a meeting h e ld -----||ay_23xd«_____ 1957-JU IU _______________ makes the following bylaw pursuant to paragraph (a) and (r) of section 80 of The Indian Act: Bylaw No. S-A bylaw to provide for the ertfction and control of toilets or priviea on the_______________________Indian Reserve, in the Pro­ vince of _BrU fcisb-G iLlJM M a_ . (a) The holder of a certificate of possession or occupant of every building or structure used as a dwelling or a place of business within the g nowol Indian Reserve shall provide a toilet or privy for the use of persons occupying or resorting to such building or structure, (b) Every toilet or privy shall be not less than 2 0 0 ___ feet from any well or water supply. (c ) Such toilet or privy shall be of fly proof construction and shall be provided with a tight fitting door which shall be kept closed. (d) All toilets or privies shall be kept in a clean and sanitary condition. (e) The council may arrange for the regular removal of night- 1 soil from any premises within the reserve, , (f) Night-soil from priviea kept on premises pending removal there­ from shall be kept in a water tight, fly proof covered container. (g) Night-soil removed from premises within the reserve shall be taken to and deposited at a place within the reserve approved by the council. (h) Any person who viciâtes any of the provisions of this bylaw shall be feuilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary convic­ tion to a fine not exceeding ten dollars or imprisonment for a term not exceeding seven days, or both fine and imprisonment.
