The Council of the Grand Rapids Band of Indians at a meeting held •;7 / " / ^ ' 7 - £ * * 2 -~y: ' * * / / f é / (date) makes the following by-law pursuant to ✓ paragraph (b) and paragraph (r) of Section 80 of the Indian Act. By-law No. / A by-law to provide for the regulation of traffic in the Grand Rapids Indian Reserve No. 132, in the Province of Manitoba. 1. In this by-law (a) "Band" means the Grand Rapids Band of Indians; (b) "Council" means the Council of the Band; and (c) "Reserve" means the Grand Rapids Indian Reserve No. 132» 2» Ro vehicle shall be operated at a rate of speed in excess of 1.5 miles an hour within any residential area of the Reserve designated and marked as such by the Council. 3. No vehicle shall be operated at a rate of speed in excess of 25 miles an hour within any other area of the Reserve. 4. Any person who violates ary of the provisions of this by-law shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding dollars or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding days or to both fine and Imprisonment.
