BLOODVEIN FIRST NATION SEP 18 mû BLOODVEIN, MANITOBA 3 TELEPHONE Rog Q ' ü (204) 276-2148 0 0 THE BLOODVEIN FIRST NATION OF INDIANS BY - LAW 1290 A i-LAW Whereas section 85.1 of the Indian Act did empower the Council of the Bloodvein First Nation to make by-laws respecting the regulating of intoxicants on their reserve land; And whereas the Council of the Bloodvein First Nation did enact by law number 1290 respecting the regulating of intoxicants; And whereas the said Council deems it to be expedient and in the best interest of the residents of the Bloodvein First Nation Reserve to amend the said by-law; Now Therefore the Council of the Bloodvein First Nation of Indians enacts as their by-law the following: 1. Section 4 of by-law 1290 is hereby amended to delete the words "an unreasonable" in the second line thereof and insert in place of those words, the word "any", so that section 4 shall now read: 4. Prohibition on possession of intoxicants: Anyone who is found in possession of any amount of intoxicants is guilty of an offence punishable on summary conviction.
