(In Full) (Month) D o Hereby Resolve: REGULATION OF TRAFFIC* The Council o f the Thunderchild Band of Indians at a meeting held May 25th, 1966, makes the follow ing by-law pursuant to paragraph (b) and (r) o f Section 80 of the Indian Act. By-law No. 1 . . . A by-law to provide fo r the regulation of t r a f f ic in Thunderchild Indian Reserves 115B and H5C> in the Province of Saskatchewan. (a) No vehicle sh a ll be operated at a rate o f speed in excess o f th ir ty -f iv e miles an hour within the boundaries of designated reserves. I (b) No vehicle sh a ll be operated at a rate o f speed in excess o f twenty mile^ an hour within the school zones of the Thunderchild Indian Reserves115B and 115C designated and marked as such by the Council of the Band. (c) Notwithstanding above sub-sections (a) and (b ) , the Band Council may in the public in te r e st , f i x a maximum speed on the reserve roads or portions thereof and sh all cause to be erected at each end of the reserve roads or portions thereof and at in tervals along the roadways or portions thereof signs indicating such maximum speeds. No.person sh all drive a motor which on such roadways or portions thereof upon which such signs have been erected, at a speed greater than that so indicated. (d) Any person who v io la te s any of the provisions o f th is by-law sh all be g u ilty o f an offence and sh a ll be lia b le on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding one hundred d ollars ($100.00) or imprisonment fo r a term not exceeding th ir ty days, or both fine and imprisonment*.
