The Kinqsclear Indian Band By-Law 6A A By-law to Amend By-law # 6 The Prevention of Disorderly Conduct and Nuisance WHEREAS: paragraphs (d)(q) and (r) of Section 81(1) of the Indian Act empower the council of an Indian Band to make a by-law governing the prevention of disorderly conduct and nuisances on the Reserve and the imposition of a fine for violation of any by-laws made under that section; AND WHEREAS: the council of the Kingsclear Indian Band did enact by-law # 6 respecting the prevention of disorderly conduct and nuisances on the reserve; AND WHEREAS: the said council deems it to be expedient and in the best interest of the residents of the Kingsclear Indian Reserve to amend the said by-law; NOW THEREFORE: the council of the Kingsclear Indian Band enacts as a by-law thereof as follows: 1. Section 6, page 4 that ,fbegqing room” should read "begging from”. 2. Section 12(1) that ’fails or refused” should read ’fails or refuses". 3. On the second line of Subsection 12(2) the reference to "Section 2" should read "Section 3" and the reference to " subsection 3(1)" should read "subsection 4(1).
