/ > ; / STURGEON LAKE INDIAN BAND #3 May 7, 1974 DRAFT BYLAW The Council of the Sturgwon Lake Indian Band, at a duly covend council meeting held this 8 day of May make the following bylaw pursuant to paragraphs (d) and (r) of Section 80 of the Indian Act. BYLAW NO. #3 A bylaw to provide for the prevention of disorderly conduct and nuisances on the STURGEON LAKE INDIAN RESERVE # 154 in the Province of Alberta. 1. No person who is a Tenant or Joint Tenant or Sub-Tenant or Joint Sub- Tenant of any dwelling house owned by or leased to the Sturgwon Lake Indian Band shall cause or permit any person to cause a disturbance or behave in a rowdy or disorderly manner in or near such dwelling house (a) by fighting, screaming, shouting, swearing, singing, or using insulting language: or (b) by being drunk: or (c) by impeding or molesting other persons. 2. No person shall cause a disturbance or behave in a rowdy or disorderly manner in or near any dwelling house owned by or leased by the Sturgeon Lke Indian Band (a) by fighting, screaming, shouting, swearing, singing, or using insulting language; or (b) by being drunk; or (c) by impeding or molesting other persons. 3. Any person who violates any provision of this bylaw shall be guilty of an offense and shall be liable on Summary Conviction to a fine not exceeding $100.00 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 30 days or both fine and imprisonment.
