ERMINESKIN RESERVE HOBBEMA INDIAN AGENCY The Council of the Ermineskin Band of Indians, at a meeting held at the Hobbema Council on August 13, 1957, makes the following by-law pursuant to paragraph (b) and (r) of section SO of the Indian Act: By-law number one (1) A by-law to provide for the regulation of traffic in Ermineskin Indian Reserve, in the Province of Alberta. (a) No vehicle shall be operated at a rate of speed,, in excess of twenty (20) miles an hour within any residential area designated and marked as such by the Council of the - Band. The road to be regulated being that road running from Alberta Provincial Highway § 2 through the Agency Headquarters to 200 yards north of the entrance road to the Ermineskin School classroom block; and the side roads running through the Agency Headquarters to a distance of 200 yards past the last residence entrance in both directions. (b) No vehicle shall be operated at a rate of speed in excess of fifteen (1$) miles per hour within the school zone set for the main road passing the Ermineskin Residential School, restricted area to extend from one hundred yards north of the entrance to the Ermineskin classroom block southerly to a point 200 yards south of the most southerly entrance to the Ermineskin School dormatory. (c) All zones designated in this by-law will be marked with approved road signs.
2 (d) Any person who violates any of the provisions of this by-law shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding ten dollars or imprisonment for a term not exceeding seven days, or both fine and imprisonment* Approved by Council /
