Bonaparte Indian Band Annual Tax Rates Bylaw No. 16, 2004 Whereas pursuant to section 11 of the Bonaparte lndran Band Property Tax Bylaw 111 s necessary to establish each year a bylaw and tax rates for each separate property class within each reserve: Now Therefore the Band Counc~ol f the Bonaparte lndian Band enacts as follows 1 Schedule " A ,a nnexed hereto is hereby dedared an integral pan of this bylaw. 2. The classes of property for the purposes of this bylaw are established hereby as set out in the Prescribed Classes of Property Regulations. B C. Regulation 438181, made pursuant to the Assessment Act (0C .), and in force for 2004. 3. Taxes shall be levied by applying the rate of tax against each $?0000 0 of assessed vatue found in the assessment roll produced in accordance with the provisions of the BonaparteAP roperty Tax Bylaw. 4. for the purpose of section I Io f the Bonaparte Property Tax Bylaw there are hereby established, imposed and levied for the taxation year 2004 the following tax rates, namely for each separate property class within each named reserve the tax rate set out in column 3 of Schedule 'A" beside the property class set out in C O I W I ~2 of Schedule "A", which 15 attached to and forms part of this Bylaw. 5. On OF before June 15m of each fiscal year, the Tax Administrator shall prepare and table with Counc~al draft annual property tax budget for the then fiscal year and the annual property tax budget w~llb e attached as Schedule "B"t o and form paFt of this Bylaw. 6. This bylaw shall come in force and become effective immediately upon approval by the Minister of indian Affairs and Northern Development. APPROVED AND PASSED at a duty convened meeting of the Band Council of the Bonaparte Indian Band held at the Bonaparte Band Hall, Bonaparte I.R.#3, P.O. Box 669, Cache Creek.
