By-Law No. 2002-7 . NADLEH WHUT'EN INDIAN BAND No. 612 NADLEHWHUT'EN INDIAN BAND 2002 RATES BYLAW WHEREAS pursuant to subsection 83(1)(a) ofthe Indian Act, R.S.C . 1985, c: 1-5 the . Council ofa band may make bylaws for the purpose oftaxation for local purposes of land, or interests in land, including rights to occupy, possess or use land in a reserve and with respect to any matters arising out ofor ancillary to such purpose; AND WHEREAS the Council ofthe Nadleh Whut'en Indian Band, enacted the Nadleh Whut'en Indian Band Property Assessment and Taxation Bylaw on, December 18, 1998 ; NOWBE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the following bylawbe and is hereby enacted pursuant to the provisions ofthe Indian Act and in particular section 83(1) for the purpose ofestablishing annual rates of taxation. SHORT TITLE 1 . This bylawmay be cited as the Nadleh Whut'en Indian Band 2002 Rates Bylaw Amending Bylaw. PART 1 INPERPRETATION 2 . Pursuant to Section 11 of the Nadleh Whut'en Indian Band Property Assessment and Taxation Bylaw, the tax rates for each class ofproperty shall be in accordance with Schedule "A" which is attached and forms part of the 2002 Rates Bylaw. APPROVED AND PASSED at a duly convened meeting ofthe Band Council ofthe Nadleh Whut'en Indian Band held at the Nadleh Whut'en Indian Band Administration Office, this 31'h day ofMay, 2002 .
