Minister of Indian Affairs Ministre des Affaires and Northern Development indiennes et du Nord canadien Ottawa, Canada K1A OH4 I, the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, HEREBY APPROVE, pursuant to section 83 of the Indian Act, the following bylaw made by the Skowkale First Nation, in the Province of British Columbia, at a meeting held on the 8`h day of August 2002. SKOWKALE FIRST NATION EXEMPTION BYLAW 1-2002 The Skowkale First Nation in accordance with Part 3 of the Skowkale Property Taxation Bylaw 1-1995 enacts the following bylaw : 1 . This bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "Exemption Bylaw 2002" . a, Any person having property assessed by the head assessor pursuant to the Assessment Bylaw as being in Class 5 (Light industry) or Class 6 (Business/Other) shall be exempt from the payment of taxes In an amount equivalent to the gross assessed value of improvement being $5,000.00 less than as stated In the roll authenticated pursuant to the Assessment Bylaw.
