MATSQUI INDIAN BAND RATES BY-LAW 1-1993 The Matsqui Indian Band in accordance with Section 7 of the Matsqui Indian Band Property Taxation By-law Amendment 1-1992 enacts the following bylaw: 1. This by-law may be cited for all purposes as the "Rates By-law 1993". 2. The following rates are hereby imposed and levied for the year 1993. (a) For school purposes on the assessed value of land and improvements taxable for school district purposes, rates appearing in Row "1" of Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming a part thereof; (b) For all general municipal services on the assessed value of land and improvements taxable for general municipal purposes, rates appearing in Row "3" of Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming a part hereof; (c) For hospital purposes on the assessed value of land and improvements taxable for regional hospital district purposes, rates appearing in Row "4" of Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming a part hereof; (d) For purposes of the regional districts on the assessed value of land and improvements tamble for general purposes, rates appearing in Row "5" of Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming a part of hereof; (e) For purposes ofthe British Columbia Assessment Authority on the assessed value of land and improvements taxable for general purposes, rates appearing in Row "6" of Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming a part hereof; . . ./2

MATSQUI INDIAN BAND PROPERTY RATES BY-LAW AMENDMENT 1 - 1993 Whereas the Matsqui Indian Band enacted a By-law on May 28, 1993, known as the Rates By-law 1993, in accordance with Section 7 of the Matsqui Indian Property Taxation By-law Amendment 1-1992, which Bylaw was approved by the Deputy Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, on behalf of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, on June 1, 1993 ; AND Whereas the Matsqui Indian Band has resolved to adopt the same rates as those set by the appropriate municipalities and districts and the Provincial Government, for general municipal and other taxes, and school taxes, respectively ; AND Whereas an amendment to the above-named Bylaw is deemed necessary ; Now therefore the Council of the Matsqui Indian Band makes a Bylaw amending the above-named By-law as follows : 1 .
