CERTIFICATION Pursuant to Section 86, Indian Act RSC 1985 C.I-5 and amendments thereto, I certify that the attached copy of the Deputy Minister's Approval Order dated 29th day of December, 1.993, and the Squamish Indian Band "1993 Taxation Budget Bylaw, dated 8th day of September, 1993, are true copies of the said Order and Bylaw. SQIIAMISH INDIAN BAND 1993 TAXATION BUDGET BYLAW WHEREAS the Squamish Indian Band passed the Taxation Expenditure Bylaw, duly approved by the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, pursuant to section 83 of the Indian Act . AND WHEREAS in the band council resolution dated September 8, 1993, council directed the preparation of a provisional taxation budget for the taxation year 1993 . AND WHEREAS the Taxation Expenditure Bylaw provides for council to adopt an annual taxation budget bylaw, including the projected revenues and expenditures, for the provision of local government services to the reserve . BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the council of the Squamish Indian Band enact the following Taxation Budget Bylaw for the taxation year 1993 pursuant to the Indian Act and in particular section 83 thereof . 1 . Short Title This bylaw may be cited as the 1993 Taxation Budget Bylaw . 2 . Annual Taxation Budget Schedule "A" attached hereto made part of this bylaw is hereby declared to be the annual taxation budget for the band, for the taxation year 1993 .
