PAR LES PRESENTES Alexander First Nation 2004 Tax Rates Bylaw WHEREAS pursuant to subsection 83jT)(a)o f the lndian Act, R.S.C. 1985, c.1-5, the Counc~oi f a band may make bylaws for the purpose of taxation for local purposes of land, or interests in land, includ~ngr ights to occupy, possess or use land in a reserve and with respect to any matters arising out of or ancillary to such purpose; AND WHEREAS the Counc~ol f the Alexander First Nation enacted the Alexander First Nation Property Assessment and Taxat~onB ylaw on June 7,2002; NOW BE IT THEREBY RESOLVED that the followrng bylaw be and IS hereby enacted pursuant to the provisions of the Indian Act and In part~culars ec!ron 83(1) for the purpose of establ~shjng annual rates of taxat~on 1. This bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the Ale-xander Firs; Narron 2004 Tax Rates 6y/a w. 2. Pursuant to section 1 7 of the Alexander First Na!m P~fipertyA ssessment and Taxation Bylaw, the rate of tax applied aga~nsth e assessed value of the land and l i n p r o v e r n e n t s for tax year 2004 shall be: In Reserve No 1 34, 'b' (a) For machinery and equ~prnent (b) For property other than machinery and e q c j l p r n e n t In Reserve No. 134A.
