Millbrook First Nation 2006 Rates By-Law WHEREAS pursuant to subsection 83(1) of the 1""""" Aa'the Council of a band may make bylaws for the purpose of taxation for local purposes of land, interests in land, including rights to occupy, possess or use land in a reserve and with respect to any matters arising out of or ancillary to such purpose: AND WHEREAS The Council of the Millbrook First Nation, enacted the land Tax By-law on June 3,1996. NOW BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the following by law is hereby enacted pursuant to the provisions of the 1""""" M and in particular section 83(1) for the purpose of establishing annual rates of taxation. 1. This by-law may be cited for all purposes as the Millbrook First Nation 2006 Rates Bylaw. 2. Pursuant to Section 11 of the land Tax By-law, the rates for each class of property shall be in accordance with Schedule 'A' which is attached, and forms part of the 2006 Rates By-law ~ AND PASSED at a duly convened meeting of the Millbrook First Natil/? held at the o B nd Administration Office, 835 Willow Street, Truro.
