A Lon g Plain Band Employee Service shall be established as the administrative Branch of the Long Plain Band 'and Long Plain Band Coure 2. The Service shall be none-political and have continuity of service, even though the Band Council may be changed by election, II Appointment of Band. The Band Manager in consultation with the Band Council , shall set the qualification standards for all job positions. 3. Working Weeksi A working week shell consist of AO hours, Monday through Friday inclusive, evceot for those employees who are engaged in essential services. Despite the above, all Band, employees shall up on call in cose of emergency e.g. fire, flood and other disasters. 2. Leave : !.. (a) Vacation Leave. Annual paid, leave shall be .granted at the vote of one and one quarter days per month, subject to a maximum of fifteen wording days per annum. Annual leave is based on the fiscal year April 1 to March 31* There shall be no carryover of vacation leave into the next year. The following paid holidays shall be observed» New Years Day Good Friday Easter Monday Victoria Day Dominion Day ' LabourDay Thanksgiving' Day Remembrance Day Christmas- Day Boxing Day One Ind \ ian Day, as may be declared by the Council, and any other holiday as m°y be declared by the Governor in Council. (b)Slcv Leave. Sick Leave shall be granted at the rate of one dev oer month subject to a maximum of twelve days oec annum. Sic1 leave s^all be arcumul a ted from year to yean. If on employe is unable to perform his duties because of sickness or injury, he may be granted sick leave with oay as a char-, e against his unused sick leave credits, or leave of ' absence without pay if he does not have unused sick leave credits. fcer two days of absence due to illness, a medical certificate wi 3.1 be required. (c) Study Leave. Employees shall be granted leare for study purposes with or without oay or reduced, oay according to the circumstances and subject to the recommendations of the Band.
